Bethan started playing rugby at 6 years of age with a boys’ team Carmarthen Quins and played there for a number of years. Whilst still playing rugby with boys, she also played for Carmarthen Athletic where both her father and grandfather have played. When Bethan turned 12 she had to stop playing with the boys. Luckily by that time Carmarthen Quins had a girls’ team and so she played for them until she finished U18’s.
