Zoe first started playing rugby when she was eight years old, at Scarborough rugby club. At the age of 12, due to not being able to play with the boys anymore, she moved clubs to West Park Leeds where she played right up until moving to Hartpury college in 2013. This enabled her to study alongside doing a full time rugby programme.
